Rick Newton, Founder and Principal of Resort Capital Partners, is a seasoned investment and real estate professional with over 25 years of experience in banking, finance, and resort development. With a strong foundation in economics from the Wharton School (B.S., 1992) and an MBA from the University of Chicago (1997), Rick has built a distinguished career leading complex financial and development initiatives.

Rick spent a decade at Wachovia, where he contributed to the Residential Mortgage and Consumer Asset Group before taking the helm of the Resort Finance Group. His expertise spans a wide range of international projects, including mixed-use resort developments, hotel condominiums, fractional ownership, marinas, golf courses, and private club communities.
